All inbound Chinese returnees and foreign nationals who have traveled or lived abroad within two weeks prior to their arrival in Zhuhai are required to undergo a 14-day home-based or centralized quarantine.

These overseas arrivals should voluntarily report their health conditions to relevant community staff or reach out to local designated medical institutions. Those who haven't run nucleic acid tests after entry will be subject to at least one for free, the Zhuhai Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Epidemic Prevention & Control Command Center insisted on March 8.

Home-based and centralized medical observation starts from the date of entry. People are forbidden from going out during the quarantine period, and those under medical observation at hotels must pay for their lodging and catering expenses. Those testing negative for COVID-19 and showing no symptoms will be released from quarantine after 14 days.

Home-quarantined individuals will be transferred for centralized isolation and shoulder responsibility for any violation. Cheating, escaping from quarantine, not cooperating with community health-service management, or not accepting nucleic acid tests will be recorded in the public credit information system and subject to legal action.

Companies and the public should also remind overseas arrivals to declare their health information, or directly report the situation to the community.

Moreover, everyone arriving in Zhuhai from Macao should fill out health declaration forms, have body temperatures measured and report their travel history. People with a temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius will be transferred to quarantined zones for medical observation, and those with suspicious symptoms will be taken by ambulance to a hospital.

Zhuhai-destined individuals will be picked up by staff of their residential districts for 14-day home-based or centralized quarantine, and foreigners will be settled at Nanhai Oil (Zhuhai) Hotel on Shuiwan Road in Jida. Travelers destined for other Guangdong cities will be transferred to Zhuhai Dehan Hotel on Jida Road near Central Lovers Avenue and Haibin Beach where they will wait for the Epidemic Prevention & Control Command Center of their destinations to pick them up via chartered buses.

Those seeking to go beyond Guangdong should wait for nucleic acid test results. Those testing positive will be transferred to designated hospitals or medical observation sites by the Zhuhai Health Bureau. The Transport Bureau will escort them to the transport hubs if their destinations are not sending chartered buses.

Anyone uncertain of their destination will be sent to a designated hotel for 14-day medical observation.
