All international travelers face mandatory quarantine
Those arriving in Zhuhai from countries abroad all must undergo health monitoring and 14-day home-based or centralized quarantine in order to control the global corona virus disease (COVID-19).
The Zhuhai Center for Disease Control & Prevention says the city's direct connections to Hong Kong and Macao make it a significant exit and entry hub. Today, there is greater risk of imported infections as businesses reopen and overseas students return.
All recent confirmed cases in Guangdong Province are arrivals from foreign countries. Across the Chinese mainland, 13 new confirmed cases were reported Tuesday, 12 of them from abroad, according to the National Health Commission. By end of Tuesday, 155 imported cases had been reported in the mainland.

Therefore, international arrivals are required to submit personal health declaration forms, which include health conditions and living and traveling experience over the past 14 days, and have their temperature checked at the border. Those who do not truthfully report infectious disease or who falsify health statement cards will be considered a disturbance to border health and quarantine in accordance with Chinese criminal law, according to the China Daily.
Those with fever, cough, sore throat, chest distress, dyspnea, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, or muscular soreness during their quarantine must wear protective masks and seek medical treatment at nearby fever clinics as soon as possible and avoid taking public transport.
In the meantime, people are urged to avoid visiting countries and regions with severe pandemic situations, including Italy, Iran, and South Korea.
On Monday, Macao confirmed its 13th case of COVID-19 in a 20-year-old local female student returning from the UK via Malaysia and then the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Its 12th case was a Spanish man, age 47, arriving last week via Moscow and Beijing.
As of midnight Monday, Macao began enforcing entry restrictions on arrivals from everywhere except the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
