During this year's China International Import Expo (CIIE), Greenland Group participated as an exhibitor, purchaser, and service provider, and made a significant impact both inside and outside the CIIE venue, amplifying the spillover effects of the expo.

Inside the CIIE venue, the group organized 161 brands from 41 countries and regions to exhibit at the consumer goods and food and agricultural exhibition halls, launching new products and promoting transactions.

The exhibit attracted more than 200,000 visitors and 700 professional buyers. Popular items included British floating chairs, Hungarian porcelain, German cosmetics, and Australian dried grapes, resulting in over 1 billion yuan ($138.12 million) in intended procurement orders.

Outside the CIIE venue, by streamlining the process from exhibition to consumption and investment, Greenland Group also drove import consumption through its trading hub and CIIE CIIE-themed bazaar.

Its Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, located near the CIIE venue, has significantly benefited from the spillover effects of the CIIE. The hub has hosted the opening of import pavilions from Armenia, Georgia, Indonesia, and Uzbekistan. It has also signed cooperation agreements with CIIE exhibitors like GE Healthcare, Beiersdorf, and Bioventus in enhancing cross-border trade.

The CIIE-themed bazaar set up by Greenland Group on Shanghai's Nanjing Road became a hotspot, attracting over 20,000 daily visitors. It opened up fast access for turning CIIE exhibits into products for customers. Popular products such as Nepali scarves and Belgian cookies sold out quickly, prompting frequent restocks by vendors.

Greenland is set to launch a month-long "CIIE Shopping Festival" on Nov 30, featuring discounts and cultural performances from countries like Australia and New Zealand, extending the excitement of the now-concluded seventh CIIE.
