The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will open on Nov 5 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai. Jungheinrich, a longtime participant of the expo, will once again use the expo to present their automated intralogistics products and solutions.
Driven by the dual engines of digitalization and sustainability, these offerings aim to achieve a sustainable transformation in the field of intralogistics through energy-saving products and enable intelligent decision-making through enhanced digitalization.
As one of the world's leading providers of intralogistics solutions, Jungheinrich has been driving the development of innovative and sustainable logistics products and solutions for 70 years, with a global network of 11 production plants and 41 service and sales companies.
In line with their commitment to sustainability, Jungheinrich is actively promoting the use of renewable energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale. Notably, the Jungheinrich Qingpu plant plans to complete a rooftop photovoltaic project next year. With 60 percent of the photovoltaic electricity generated to be used in the plant's production, the project is expected to reduce electricity costs by nearly 8 percent annually.
"At the first expo in 2018, Jungheinrich signed letters of intent with 24 customers, and some of its flagship products, such as narrow-aisle three-way forklifts, were very popular. Additionally, the automated warehousing solutions showcased at the expo have been implemented in various projects across China," said Bao Wenyan, marketing director of Jungheinrich.
After participating in the fair five times, Jungheinrich has achieved business breakthroughs while enhancing brand awareness.
