Weihai Museum
The Weihai Museum is located in the coastal city of Weihai, East China's Shandong province, and is a comprehensive national second-class museum integrating history, art, and the humanities.
Covering a total construction area of 13,669 square meters, the museum has an exhibition area of 7,221 sq m. The First World War Chinese Laborers Memorial Hall, with a total area of 2,344 sq m, is a branch of the Weihai Museum, and was opened to the public in 2020.
The museum holds a collection not only concentrating on the historical events that happened in Weihai, but also the history of Chinese laborers sent to the battlefield in World War I.
