The traditional Chinese lunar calendar divides the year into 24 solar terms. Grain Rain (谷雨), as the last term in spring, starts on April 20 and ends on May 4. So, it is a good time to get out of the city and experience nature as the weather gets warmer and the view is greener. Peony flowers are in full bloom during the Grain Rain period, and here are some places in Shandong to admire the stunning peony blossoms.
