Explore traditional art in Taierzhuang ancient town
The art of Dashuhua, or traditional iron spraying, a local art form in Zaozhuang's Taierzhuang Ancient Town, was started by blacksmiths who could not afford expensive fireworks. It has a long history spanning thousands of years and is a national intangible culture heritage item. Sparkles pour down as performers spray burning iron chips to create a firework-like effect.
