Shandong opens memorial highlighting the Party's history
A memorial highlighting the early years of the Communist Party of China opened on June 29 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.
The memorial is based on the old site of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee. The 1,200-square-meter venue displays a large number of exhibits including relics, photos and literature related to major events such as the May Fourth Movement and the establishment of early CPC organizations in Shandong.
The exhibition area is divided into six sections that tell the story around the early years of the CPC and the selfless spirit of Chinese communists.
