The fourth China Time-Honored Brand (Shandong) Expo will be held in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, from Aug 28 to 30, the local government announced at a news conference on Aug 12.

This year's event has an exhibition area of 23,000 square meters. Eight themed exhibition areas will be set up to display products such as food, medicine, famous wine and tea, and intangible cultural heritage items.

More than 600 enterprises from 25 provinces and cities will exhibit more than 8,000 products. Exhibitors from Hunan, Shaanxi, and Yunnan provinces are participating in the expo for the first time.

The China Time-Honored Brand (Shandong) Expo will serve as a professional exchange platform for time-honored brands from across the country and is expected to further stimulate consumption among local residents.

Official said that a total of 382 enterprises from 25 provinces and cities participated in the expo last year, generating 16.23 million yuan ($2.33 million) in on-site sales.
