To experience traditional Chinese culture, over 30 teachers and students from the Zoulu Children’s Ritual Culture Troupe attended the First Writing Ceremony on July 21.

A series of rituals were performed at the ceremony, including drawing red dots on children’s forehead to open their "wisdom eye” (a ritual for encouraging children to study hard), serving teachers with tea, beating drums to awaken children’s minds, calligraphy writing and recitals of San Zi Jing ( ‘Three Character Classic’).
