Rizhao, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, recently released 12 measures to ensure that residents and tourists enjoy an enhanced tourism experience in the city with high-quality tourism services, diversified tourism products, and a warm and welcoming environment.

One of the key initiatives includes the formation of volunteer service teams to provide services such as guided tours, on-site assistance, tourism information, emergency rescue, and more at transportation hubs like train stations and airports, as well as important scenic spots. There will be an increase in tourism bus services connecting Rizhao Airport, Rizhao West Station, and other transportation hubs to major tourist attractions.

To facilitate tourists' experiences on the "Sunshine Coast Greenway", hand-drawn maps highlighting tourist attractions, photo spots, public facilities, and unique accommodations will be distributed for free. Bike rental services along the Greenway will be improved to offer convenient cycling experiences for visitors.

The city will also introduce favorable policies at tourist attractions to encourage discounts on entry fees. Limited-time free parking services will be provided during non-working days and holidays, and a parking information application called "Rizhao Smart Parking" will be used to help tourists find parking spaces.

Embracing Rizhao's rich seafood and culinary culture, a seasonal gourmet selection activity will be held to highlight affordable and quality local dishes, promoting them extensively to ensure visitors enjoy a delightful culinary experience.

Moreover, Rizhao will launch premium tourist routes focusing on greenways, coastlines, beaches, mountains, villages, and more.

As a vibrant coastal tourism city, Rizhao will focus on enhancing its cultural charm to enrich the city's tourism and leisure offerings with a deeper cultural significance.
