Yan Li, mayor of Suzhou, and Ding Dawei, mayor of Nantong, co-chaired the fifth Su-Tong cross-Yangtze River cooperation development joint meeting at the Wenfeng Hotel, Nantong. The development orientation and action plan for Su-Tong Science and Technology Park for the next three years and its work plan for 2010 were determined during the meeting.

The Administrative Committee of Su-Tong Science and Technology Park and State Grid Nantong Power Supply Company signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation to advance the planning and construction of the park's power grid. During the period of 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020), Nantong Power Supply Company will invest 530 million yuan ($76 million) to further optimize the structure of the power grid in Su-Tong Park.

The Minsk aircraft carrier, which is 274 meters long, 47.2 meters wide and over 60 meters high with a standard displacement of 30,535 tons and a full-load displacement of 43,500 tons, arrived in Nantong, marking the official launch of the aircraft carrier-themed tourism project.
