Tencent New Media Institute (Nantong) was officially launched in Su-Tong Science and Technology Park on Dec 27, 2019, and is expected to further accelerate the training of new media talents in Nantong and help the development of the city's digital content industry.

Relying on Tencent's deep experience in internet operations, the institute will cultivate a new "Tencent+Government" model for the regional content industry to build an online and offline multidimensional training platform to carry out talent training, brand promotion and the development of smart cities.

It will also use Tencent resources to help local innovation and entrepreneurship industries, and develop unicorn and listed companies.

Moreover, the institute will focus on the upgrading of the digital content industry in the park, and promote it to become a digital content industry highland in Nantong and central Jiangsu province.

The Su-Tong Science and Technology Park, as an international ecological park jointly constructed by the Chinese and Austrian governments, and as a transnational park jointly developed by Jiangsu province and Singapore, hosts various industries, including the digital content industry which has been developing vigorously in recent years.
