The Su-Tong Human Resource Park officially started operating on Dec 29 in the Su-Tong Science and Technology Park in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.

The park was first conceived in 2016 and was approved for construction in 2018. It is currently home to 114 human resource institutes involved in personnel data, online recruitment, headhunting, consultation, and personnel assessments.

The park brought in a total of 2.41 billion yuan ($345.68 million) during its trial operation in 2019, and it aims to establish a comprehensive human resource service system meeting international standards by 2021.

At the park's launch ceremony, six human resource companies signed agreements to set up operations in the park, while four industrial platforms, including the Nantong branch of MeetHR and the Nantong Human Resource Association, unveiled their nameplates.

A number of industrial experts and government officials also shared some insights at the event.
