Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO of Nord Anglia Education Group (NAE), along with NAE directors, visited Su-Tong Science and Technology Park, southeast Jiangsu province, on Nov 29.

Xu Xinmin, deputy mayor of Nantong, Zhang Hui, deputy ministry of the Organizational Department of the CPC Nantong municipal committee, and Wang Shaoyong, director of the Su-Tong Science and Technology Park administrative committee, attended the meeting.

NAE, a high-end education provider, has 66 premium international schools based in 29 countries around the world. At present, NAE has eight international schools and six bilingual schools in the Chinese mainland, which include Nord Anglia School Nantong. Located in Su-Tong Science and Technology Park, the school officially opened earlier this year.

Nord Anglia Education enjoys a good reputation around the world, and Nantong is known as the hometown of education. NAE's choosing of Nantong should lead to powerful cooperation in running of the Nord Anglia School, Xu Xinmin said. In the future, he looks forward to the two parties' further strengthening understanding, enhancing mutual trust and promoting cooperation in education and other fields to achieve a win-win situation.

Gathering in Nantong this time, the NAE directors aimed to discuss the group's future development strategy and layout in Chinese mainland. As a key point in NAE's strategic layout, the Nantong school has an excellent geographical advantage.

NAE will committee helping Su-Tong park to build a multi-functional ecological park integrating production, living and education with its international education resources, and it will also make great efforts to strengthen the introduction of talents and promote high-quality development of the local economy.
