The Zhangjiagang Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Alliance was inaugurated at the Zhangjiagang Hospital of TCM on Jan 5, with the aim of integrating the resources of 24 medical institutions across the city and constructing a comprehensive and efficient network of TCM health service covering the entire region.
As the leading unit of the alliance, the Zhangjiagang Hospital of TCM has established the first batch of municipal-level TCM expert pools, selecting 15 experts, including experienced senior TCM practitioners and veteran pharmacists.
It has also developed a digital and intelligent TCM collaboration center, offering 21 types of self-made preparations, 18 types of tea drinks, and 29 types of seasonal herbal pastes. This facilitates prescription sharing, centralized dispensing, and unified decoction within the alliance.
In recent years, Zhangjiagang has deepened its TCM system, establishing several national and provincial key TCM specialties and achieving full coverage of TCM clinics and pavilions in grassroots medical institutions.
