A number of companies based in Shanghai displayed their latest intelligent products at the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) held in Shanghai on Nov 7-11, enabling visitors to experience a smart and green life.

A patrol robot developed by Shanghai Kingo Bots Technology Co and showcased at the fair can be used at subways and tunnels.

Du Mingchen, a software architect at Kingo Bots, explained that the robot can launch real-time monitoring of subways and tunnels, collect data at certain key points, and analyze whether there will be danger at those points, so as to reduce occurrence of actual failure.

Shanghai's metro line 2 has expressed intention to cooperate with the company.
