CIIF has for the first time since its launch in 1999 set up an area for the display of artificial intelligence (AI) applications. These latest novelties are expected to generate a lot of benefit in our lives such as helping paraplegia patients recover walking ability, designing products with the help of machines, helping customers choose the best fit in shoes, realizing automatic transportation in warehouses and producing AI smart phone chips.

One of the highlights of the fair is the many new scientific research and technological innovation achievements on display, mostly serving the high-end biomedical and health industries. In a manufacturing and green energy booth, visitors can also admire models of a China Railway igh-speed train and zero-pollution engine.
