Passengers should notice that the Hongqiao West Coach Station has enforced the real-name ticket booking and examination as of March 1.

According to a new regulation released by the Ministry of Transport, interprovincial and inter-city transportation tickets should have passenger information printed on them.

Ticket buyers should present valid proof of identification such as ID cards and passports at the ticket window. Those booking coach tickets online or by telephone should first provide valid identity documents and later pick up tickets with their ID cards.

If passengers lose their tickets, they can receive a replacement ticket free of charge after their personal identity has been verified.
