Famed for its classic French style, Sofitel features distinctive design including landscaped gardens and high-ceilinged, gorgeously decorated rooms. The external wall of New Hualian Sofitel Hotel is delicately made of Portuguese cream-colored raw gemstone, which is washed, cut and engraved to a high quality finish.

The hotel's interior design takes inspiration from the Louis-era French style with combination of multiple tones and gentle colors. The color palette reportedly draws on famed French painter Claude Monet to provide a cozy and elegant home feeling.

Guestrooms are well-equipped with satellite television, Wi-Fi and bathroomware to ensure a comfortable stay.

The 1,027-square-meter banquet hall is able to accommodate up to 900 people. Ten conference rooms will also be available to meet diverse demands, including making up for a shortage of conference facilities at the convention center during peak times.
