Officials from the Guangzhou South Railway Station management committee and public security bureau of Fanyu district in Guangzhou visited Hongqiao Integrated Transportation Hub on May 25.

Principals of Hongqiao CBD’s transportation division, public security department and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station accompanied the delegation.

The officials inspected the operation site of the Hongqiao transportation hub, toured terrorist attack prevention and control spots, and gained an insight into the  development and construction of Hongqiao CBD. 

During a symposium, both sides shared opinions on the transportation hub's operational management, terrorist attack prevention, traffic control, joint law enforcement and emergency security.

The visit facilitated cooperation between the two sides and sought to improve the operation management capacity of Guangzhou South Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao CBD.
