Min Shilin, executive deputy director of the Administration Committee of Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD), led committee officials on a visit to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on May 5. 

The purpose of the trip was to coordinate and speed up the construction of the sunken plaza at the convention center.

Shanghai Rainbow Investment Co and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) will cooperate to study the construction of the sunken plaza and the pipeline removal, officials revealed during the visit.

Min said that the sunken plaza is an important supporting facility of the center and a key connection to Hongqiao CBD and the Hongqiao transportation hub. All relevant departments and enterprises were encouraged to cooperate and make comprehensive arrangements to move the project construction forwards step by step.

Jiang Xiaolong, deputy director of the administrative committee, Chen Xiaoping, manager of Shanghai Rainbow Investment Co and Tang Guifa, president of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) attended the meeting.
