The Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) signed the agreement with Hongqiao Vanke Center on December 22, 2014, to put its offices in the center of Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District（CBD）.

As China`s world-class business school, CKGSB is engaged in creating current and future leaders with the global vision, humanitarian spirit and innovative mind-set. Established in Beijing in November 2002 with the generous support of the Li Ka Shing Foundation, CKGSB is China’s first faculty-governed, non-profit, independent business school.

Over the past 12 years, CKGSB has evolved into a prominent business school with 45 full-time professors, who have earned their PhDs or held tenured faculty positions at leading business schools such as Harvard, Wharton and Stanford. Their researches have provided the basis for over 300 case studies on both China-specific and global issues. CKGSB also sets apart from the other business schools with its unmatched alumni network. More than half of the 8,000 CKGSB alumni are holding the positions of the CEO or Chairman and, collectively, lead one-fifth of China’s most valuable brands. Together, CKGSB alumni`s companies make over $1 trillion in annual revenue, demonstrating the school’s impact and influence as well. 

CKGSB aims at understanding businesses using a well-rounded approach, beyond the traditional boundaries of business schools. For instance, in 2004, CKGSB pioneered the inclusion of the humanities into its curricula, giving the students wider long-term and holistic view of business and development. The school’s EMBA students—more than 80% of whom are holding the Vice President positions or higher—are also required to complete six days of community work to receive their degrees. In 2014, CKGSB was the first Chinese business school to develop a philanthropy course aimed at providing the school’s alumni with the expertise in setting up and managing foundations and engagement in philanthropy.

In addition to its main campus in the center of Beijing, CKGSB has campuses and teaching facilities in Shanghai, Shenzhen and New York, as well as the offices in Hong Kong and London.
