KSPG is the automotive division of parent group Rheinmetall. As one of the biggest auto industry suppliers worldwide, KSPG is an important partner to the industry for its product competitiveness in air supply and emission control as well as its research, manufacturing and aftermarket supply of pistons, engine blocks, and plain bearings.

KSPG established its Chinese headquarters in the Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District. The HQ has a registered capital of 366.4 million yuan ($56.5 million).

Product engineering and development are conducted in close liaison with global leading car assemblers. Energy saving, emission reduction, reliability, superior quality, and security are the driving forces KSPG’s search for innovation.

In line with its strategic focus, the group has three divisions: Hardparts, Mechatronics and Aftermarket. It employs a workforce of around 12,000 employees at more than 30 production plants in Europe, North and South America, Japan, India and China.
