8. Hongqiao CBD signs MOU with the US Green Building Council

Hongqiao CBD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the US Green Building Council on Nov 27, 2015. Both sides agreed to cooperate on the development of a green and low-carbon central business district. All new buildings in the core district area have met the rating standards of being green and low-carbon at present. 

9. Hongqiao CBD initially completed comprehensive transportation optimization plan

Hongqiao CBD and Shanghai transportation administration arranged the compilation of a comprehensive transportation plan of the district in 2015, to further promote the transportation facilities in Hongqiao CBD. The plan has since been finished. 

10. Hongqiao CBD investment and development forum concludes at China International Fair for Investment and Trade

The Hongqiao CBD investment and development forum was held at the China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Xiamen, Fujian province on Sept 8, 2015. The forum was hosted by the Administration Committee of Hongqiao CBD. As an important location in China’s Belt and Road Initiative, experts engaged in an in-depth exploration of the district’s development opportunities and prospects. 　

A business matching conference among industrial parks and industries in the Yangtze River basin was held at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center from Oct 11 to 12, 2015. Approximately 90 senior managers from enterprises in Guangdong, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Fujian and Hainan provinces visited the Hongqiao Central Business District.
