The HUB, also known as Hongqiao Tiandi, is a project that is set to benefit directly from the more than one million passengers that pass through the Hongqiao transportation hub.

It is located in the land parcel 06 of phase 1 of the core area. It connects Suhong Road to the north, Zhouhong Road to the South, and situated between Shenchang Road and Shenhong Road. 

With a land area of 62,000 square meters, Hongqiao Tiandi consists of a 380,000 sq m commercial complex. This includes including office space, shopping mall, restaurants and entertainment and recreational centers.

The ground area takes up about 230,000 sq m, including a commercial area of 128,000 sq m and an office and exhibition area of 106,000 sq m.

The Hongqiao transportation hub comprises of the Hongqiao International Airport, the high-speed Hongqiao Railway Station, subway lines, bus stations and public parking lots.

The Hong Kong-listed Shui On Land is in charge of the built. It is primarily mainly engaged in the construction of high-quality residential, office, retail, entertainment and cultural properties in China. 

The company acquired the land for the project for 3.18 billion yuan. It aims to mirror the success of the now-famous Xintiandi development downtown.
