On Nov 5, a new chapter in Nanming's history began with the official approval of the Guizhou Nanming Economic Development Zone. According to a notice from the Guizhou Provincial Government, the development zone has been designated as a provincial-level economic zone, marking the start of a transformative era for urban industrial growth in Nanming.
The district's industrial achievements are already evident. From January to November, Nanming reported a total industrial output value of 24.93 billion yuan ($3.44 billion), with an added value of 5.80 billion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 4.3 percent. Industrial investment during the same period reached 3.79 billion yuan, a significant year-on-year increase of 39.9 percent.
