A delegation of journalists from 30 media outlets in the US, Canada, Germany, and other countries visited Nanming district in Guiyang city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Oct 12.
They explored the efforts made by Nanming district to create a unique cultural hub and entrepreneurial space for new overseas Chinese talents in the Qingyun Market and Qingyun Pedestrian Street.

The delegates were briefed on Qingyun Pedestrian Street's vitalization and redevelopment, business models, and unique features. They learned that the street's businesses provide more choices for residents and tourists and focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting many new overseas Chinese talents to start their ventures there.
Qingyun Market's authentic Guiyang cuisine offered visitors a bustling, flavorful experience.
"Qingyun Road's transformation is a model for success, especially in blending cultural creativity with local traditions," remarked Fan Xuan, editor-in-chief of Germany's European New Newspaper.
