Zhucheng Square selected as 2024 China summer retreat destination

Zhucheng Square in Nanming district of Guiyang city was recently selected as one of several cultural summer retreat destinations in the 2024 China Meteorological Tourism Research Report on Summer Retreat Destinations, published by the China Meteorological Service Association in collaboration with Beijing News' Seashell Finance.

The report evaluated 60 summer retreat destinations out of 181 based on regional characteristics, climate features, meteorological data, and climate predictions. These destinations cover seven major categories: mountains, forests, rural areas, lakes, coastal areas, stargazing sites, and cultural sites.

Zhucheng Square serves multiple functions, hosting gatherings and providing a place for leisure, culture, commerce and historical commemoration.

This year, various exciting roadside music concerts have been staged here. From ethnic music to pop music, professional performances to amateur enthusiasts showcasing their talents, these concerts offer a continuous musical feast that showcases Guiyang's cultural charm.
