The Hong Kong-style characteristic block of Central Street, located next to the BRT station at Lanhua Square in Nanming district of Guiyang, made its grand debut on July 31.
With its unique location, diverse business layout and cutting-edge commercial concepts, the block is expected to become a popular area for the people of Guiyang.
Pan Weiyong, the general manager of Guizhou Qihang Zhonghuan Commercial Management Co, revealed that the block covers a total area of 40,000 square meters and has a total investment of 500 million yuan ($68.49 million).
It integrates the themes of "City Walk" and "City Eat", serving as an immersive commercial street that combines art, cuisine, entertainment, and nightlife economy.
Comprising a 300-meter-long open street area and a two-story indoor street area, it features a harmonious blend of first-store economy, internet-famous economy and nightlife economy.
Brand flagship stores, specialty shops, creative outlets and internet-famous establishments interweave to paint a new picture of life and tourism in Guiyang.
The project spokesperson highlighted that Central Street is surrounded by high-end communities, directly reaching nearly 3 million residents, and providing it with a solid customer base. Additionally, the project enjoys convenient transportation with a well-developed urban bus system, boasting 33 bus routes and 80 bus stops.
Central Street focuses on dining, entertainment, cultural and creative markets, and retail. These diverse offerings are expected to enhance regional development capabilities and introduce new consumption concepts and lifestyle experiences to residents.
