Nanming gig market boosts flexible employment

In recent years, Nanming district in Guiyang has been continuously improving its public employment service system, extending services to the local level and promoting the standardized development of gig markets.

Nanming has established gig workstations in various villages and communities, deploying employment service machines to extend public employment services to the "last kilometer."

The Nanming District Gig Market, located in the Huaguoyuan area, features five different areas: a comprehensive service area, a gig waiting area, an office training area, a living service area, and a safety management area.

These areas provide a range of services for businesses and jobseekers, including information dissemination, job (employment) registration, career guidance, skills training, labor rights protection, policy consultation, and labor transaction negotiations.

To date, the gig market has conducted employment services for 26,241 individuals, posted 21,153 job openings for 2,151 companies, and facilitated the employment of over 4,000 people through the gig market.
