May 19 marked the 14th China Tourism Day. Just one day earlier, the city of Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province hosted a grand parade celebrating ethnic unity, offering a vibrant cultural feast to a multitude of tourists.
The parade featured 25 floats and performance groups composed of over 2,700 participants from various cities and prefectures across Guizhou.
As they marched along Zhonghua North Road, the main thoroughfare of Guiyang, they showcased a series of captivating intangible cultural heritage performances, including the Lusheng dance, wooden drum dance, and Dong ethnic group's grand song.

In addition to the folk performances, the parade floats were brimming with creativity. Among them, the Nanming district's float, known as the "Melody Bus," stood out.
The front of the bus was adorned with a scholar's cap, its wings gently swaying as the vehicle moved forward, and a pair of bright, lively eyes flashing at the front. This imaginative design instantly captured the attention of the crowd.
The "Melody Bus" also became a focal point of media attention, prominently featured by the CCTV News Channel.
