Li Duanfen's Tomb
Li Duanfen (1833-1907), a native of Guiyang city, achieved the title of jinshi (someone who passed all three examinations held by the ancient Chinese government) during the Tongzhi era in the Qing Dynasty and held positions such as xuezheng and shilang.
In the 22nd year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1896), Li petitioned for the establishment of the Imperial University along with other schools in various provinces, as well as for the construction of libraries, music institutes, and translation bureaus.
