As the season for spring tea production and sales unfolds, journalists from Guiyang Network recently visited the Taisheng Tea Market in Nanming district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to explore the current state of spring tea sales.
According to incomplete statistics, the tea market has sold over 60 metric tons of Guizhou tea since spring tea hit the market. This includes popular varieties, such as Cuiya, Maojian, and Zheng'an White Tea.
Guizhou's ecological advantages include its high altitude, low latitude, limited sunlight, abundant fog, and minimal pollution. All of these factors contribute to Guizhou's unparalleled and unique teas.
"Good mountains and good water yield good tea. Our Guizhou tea is the best!" exclaimed An Jiali, the person in charge of Bihai Tea Industry Co.
Bihai Tea Industry Co is a tea enterprise that integrates tea cultivation, production, processing, and sales.
It settled in the Taisheng Tea Market in 2007, with its original tea plantation located in Meitan county of Zunyi city.

In addition to in-person purchases, online sales also constitute a major sales model for the Taisheng Tea Market.
Tianchengxiang Tea Industry Co is a company specializing in the sale of Guizhou tea, primarily offering Duyun Maojian, Meitan Cuiya, and Yuqing Kuding tea.
"We mainly use online methods such as live streaming to sell our tea to provinces and municipalities such as Shandong, Beijing, and Shanghai," explained Yao Tiancheng, the person in charge of the company.
Since the start of the spring tea season, the company has sold over 1,500 kilograms of tea to various parts of the country, with prices ranging from 100 yuan ($13.70) to 500 yuan per kg, achieving a daily turnover of over 20,000 yuan.
As the central urban area of the provincial capital, Nanming has been hosting tea culture events since 2007. The district is also committed to building a brand promotion and sales platform that will fully promote Guizhou tea.
