In recent years, Nanming district has been continuously improving its healthcare service system as well as its disease prevention and control system, supporting the construction of the "Healthy Nanming" livelihood brand.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the total area of healthcare institutions in Nanming increased by nearly 40,000 square meters, with an addition of 572 beds.
The district has achieved the integration of medical and educational services by establishing nine infant and toddler care institutions, constructing seven grassroots healthcare institutions, completing the standardized construction of 27 community health service centers, and establishing three provincial-level exemplary traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinics.
Moreover, Nanming has established cooperative relationships with more than 10 provincial and municipal tertiary hospitals. These collaborations have achieved full coverage throughout the district's 33 township-level healthcare institutions, which promotes the establishment of a hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system.
Furthermore, four township health clinics and 28 community health service centers in the district have set up new TCM clinics.
