Nanming makes new progress in IP work

Nanming district has successfully applied for the "Guizhou Province's County Economy Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Project in 2023," according to a recent announcement from the Administration for Market Regulation of Guizhou Province.

It was another achievement made by Nanming in intellectual property in recent years.

On Oct 29, 2021, the Nanming market regulation bureau was awarded the title of "Advanced Collective in Intellectual Property Protection in Guizhou Province from 2019 to 2021.”

In August 2022, Nanming was honored for its significant results promoting various measures for the strong provincial intellectual property strategy.

Since the start of its intellectual property-related work, Nanming has attached great importance to intellectual property development, established an improved intellectual property work mechanism, and vigorously guided, encouraged, and supported intellectual property innovation.

Nanming has taken proactive measures to foster a thriving intellectual property economy. One notable initiative is the Implementation Plan for the Nanming District County Economy Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Project. This strategic plan serves as a blueprint for Nanming's efforts to cultivate and leverage intellectual property assets to drive economic growth, aiming to build itself into a robust intellectual property economy by prioritizing intellectual property.

Nanming has also set up a leading coordination group for intellectual property work, with the deputy district head in charge and the relevant departments as members. This group coordinates daily intellectual property work and special intellectual property protection work.

Moreover, Nanming is strengthening the cultivation of high-value and PCT patents, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights, encouraging patent information analysis techniques to guide the investment attraction, investment merger, R&D innovation, or talent introduction of local industrial parks.
