Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed 18 projects with a total investment of about 13.1 billion yuan ($1.96 billion) into effect on Feb 27.
The projects focus on such fields as electronic information manufacturing, bio-economy, digital economy, and headquarters economy.
Among the projects are two industrial projects, two projects invested in by central-government-owned enterprises, seven projects focusing on digital economy, three projects focusing on culture and tourism, and two fund projects.
Additionally, the Nanming district government signed strategic cooperation agreements with four banks on the same day.
