Nanming industrial economic development in full swing

The industrial economy is driving the rapid development of Nanming district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Industrial park construction in full swing

Nanming is striving to develop itself into a national new-type urban industrial demonstration site. An industrial layout comprising "one industrial park +three industrial clusters" has already formed there.

"One industrial park" refers to the Nanming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, which will receive an investment of 4.47 billion yuan ($670.67 million) in total and be constructed in four phases.

Group A of the first and second phases of the project has already been completed and put into use, and 21 standard workshops have been established by enterprises.

Meanwhile, Groups B and C of the second phase are in the process of power distribution, elevator installation and commissioning, fire inspection, sanitation and cleaning. They will be completed and put into use in the near future.

Construction of the phase-3 and phase-4 projects is currently underway.

In addition, Nanming plans to build another three industrial clusters, namely Hongyan, Bagongzi and Maodihe.

Industrial projects accelerated

Electronic information manufacturing and biotech are two Nanming district's most important industries.

In the first half of this year, Nanming reported a total industrial output value of 8.05 billion yuan and an added value of 2.61 billion yuan.

Its electronic information manufacturing enterprises above designated size saw a total industrial output value of 644 million yuan and an added value of 181 million yuan.

The district also signed agreements for three national headquarters projects and saw three new enterprises above designated size.

The industrial cultivation of microalgae and industrialization of astaxanthin projects funded by Zhongming Biology (Shenzhen) Group Co are currently underway in Nanming, and are scheduled to begin operating in the current year.

The projects are expected to achieve an industrial output value of 100 million yuan this year and an annual output value of 2.7 billion yuan when operating at full capacity.

Service guarantees in a timely manner

To stimulate the vitality of enterprises, Nanming has made strong efforts in terms of service quality and efficiency.

Nanming has comprehensively built a full-life-cycle service system, sped up the implementation of projects and fostered new growth points for industrial development.

In the first half of the year, Nanming provided enterprises with services in terms of company registration, opening bank accounts, tax registration, project filing, design review and construction permits.

It also helped solve various problems encountered by enterprises in production, employment, and education of employees' children.

There are currently 32 industrial enterprises above designated size in the whole district.
