The upgraded Qingyun Market took on a whole new look and now offers a more colorful experience to visitors.
The market is located on Qingyun Road in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The market is home to more than 100 snack brands available for sampling.
Built at the site of the old Guiyang Knitting Factory, Qingyun Market was once a must-visit destination for foodies.
Over a period of 30 years, the image of Qingyun Road as a "late night canteen" has been deeply rooted in the minds of locals.

Meanwhile, its aging infrastructure, poor business layout, smoke and noise pollution gradually came to light.
In 2020, Nanming district initiated an upgrading and renovation project that was completed on Dec 11, 2021.
The renovated market is now a great place for people to sample local food, intangible cultural heritage items, culture, art and technology.
Various activities will be held according to major events, holidays and festivals, enriching the experience for visitors.
The infrastructure and tourism services there have been significantly improved as well.
