Nanming cultural works obtain provincial recognition

Cultural works submitted by Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, stood out from entries and won several prizes at the 8th Guizhou Provincial Literature and Art Awards and the 1st Guizhou Provincial Literature Awards.

The Nanming winners include the cross talk "Self-driving Adventure", prose "Moonlight White", and reportage "Symphony of a City".

They won second and third places in different award categories.

In recent years, Nanming has been attaching great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage items and improving cultural services.

Nanming has already finished the application of inheritors of such intangible cultural heritage items as Guiyang puppetry opera, Yang-style taichi, and Miaodao martial arts.

Cultural sites such as the former residence of Wang Boqun and Dai Yunshan Villa have also completed renovations and are well-preserved.

Furthermore, Nanming will improve its public culture service system and culture industry system.
