The Nanming district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on Aug 23 signed an agreement with Guangdong Authenmole Biotech Inc to help it further develop its traditional Chinese medicine, or TCM, industry.
Guangdong Authenmole Biotech Inc is a hi-tech enterprise engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and wholesaling of natural tea and plant extract products.
Under the agreement, the two will jointly promote the construction of a modern Guizhou TCM application innovation industry demonstration base.
Construction of the project will be divided into four phases. This will include construction of a molecular Ganoderma lucidum innovation industry demonstration line and the establishment of an academician workstation.
It will also include the establishment of three to four active transdermal delivery technology production lines, a Miao medicine innovation sharing platform and medicine research and development bases.
The first phase plans to invest 200 million yuan ($30 million), and the food and health food production lines will be completed and start operating by the end of December this year.
