Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed deals with domestic and international enterprises on May 26 during the 2021 China International Big Data Expo to cooperate in the fields of smart city development, 5G construction and the digital industry.
Among the cooperation partners are Fortune Global 500 enterprises Dassault and Tencent, as well as China's Fortune 500 enterprise Hikversion.
Nanming will cooperate with Dassault to establish the Dassault System Innovation Empowerment Center project, which will use the company's advantages to build the Dassault 3DE experience platform, a display experience center, an innovation empowerment center, and a training and certification center in the district.
This project is the first public innovation service platform to boost cooperation from Dassault and the government in Guizhou. It will help Guizhou innovate and create an environment for innovation and intelligent manufacturing, as well as promote the industrial innovation and intelligentization of Guizhou's local enterprises.
The cooperation between Nanming and Hikversion will focus on establishing the Hikversion 5G Innovation Center.
The two sides will conduct in-depth cooperation in the fields of urban IoT scene infrastructure, urban operation and management central platforms, big data-related facilities and city-level smart applications. The goal is to jointly promote Nanming district's smart city construction.
Additionally, Nanming district signed two other project agreements: one covering the settlement of ISSTECH's information economy industrial park and the other involving the Southwest China headquarters of Huaxi Shiwuyou.
