Nanming signs deals with China-ASEAN Business Council

Nanming district government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China-ASEAN Business Council in Beijing on April 29.

As a result, the RCEP Industry Cooperation Research Institute and the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Cooperation Committee will be established in Nanming and start operating in May.

Nanming will focus on cooperative industry research among RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) countries, talent introduction and training, and international project exchanges and cooperation with the RCEP Industry Cooperation Research Institute.

The two parties will also cooperate in fields such as traditional Chinese medicine, big data, trade in services, food, and logistics.

More cooperation to expand the scale of trade, promote two-way investment, promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, and provide a platform for cultural exchanges and industrial cooperation between the Guiyang Inland Opening-up Pilot Zone and RCEP countries will be conducted.

In addition, the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Cooperation Committee will organize forums, promotional meetings, and seminars to enhance the influence of Guizhou's traditional Chinese medicine industry and build a platform for the medical enterprises of both parties to carry out business activities, exchange, and cooperation.

Before the signing ceremony, the Nanming district government and the China-ASEAN Business Council discussed geographical location, industry, policy, the investment environment, supporting resources, and international promotion.
