A special job fair was held on April 23 in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. The event was an important part of the district's 2021 "talent day," which fell on the same day.
The job fair aimed to build a two-way communication platform for employers and job seekers in the district and provide talent support for Nanming's high-quality economic and social development.

More than 80 companies participated in the job fair, such as Hengli (Guizhou) Textile Intelligent Technology Co and Guiyang Vanke Property Service Co.
Meanwhile, more than 1,000 job positions were offered, covering fields such as manufacturing, new media e-commerce, real estate and finance.
Utilizing offline and online recruitment methods, the job fair abandoned the previous single-recruitment format.
Job seekers who did not find a suitable position at the on-site job fair could scan the QR code on the fair's information collection form to submit their resumes and job search intentions to the online platform.
The job seekers' resumes will be used by the district to try to match them with suitable positions at various companies.
