Nanming district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was selected as the top spot among all the province's counties, districts and special zones for its online government affairs services, according to local media reports on Jan 26.
The district also ranked first in the service center special target assessment, which examined all districts and counties in Guiyang city.
Nine cities (autonomous prefectures), 88 counties (cities, districts, special zones) and 12 non-organic districts with sub-sites in Guizhou's government service network participated in the third-party evaluation of the province's online government service capacity in 2020.
Nanming district scored 95.10 points in the evaluation, ranking first.
So far, the district has handled more than 130,000 general affairs, ranking first in the province.
The district's government service system has realized 100 percent online consultation, online inquiry and online handling. Through the Nanming site of Guizhou's government service network, district residents can consult, inquire, and handle all of the 28 government departments' service items.
Also, to better meet the needs of residents who do not use online services and promote the reform of offline services, various service windows at the district's government affairs service center have been integrated. Now, residents can visit one window to handle all the items related to a service category.
The district also equipped 16 computers and eight printers in the special e-office zone at its service center, providing more self-services to enterprises and residents.
