Nanming district, Guiyang Nursing Vocational College set to cooperate

Nanming district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- signed a cooperation agreement with Guiyang Nursing Vocation College on Dec 18.

Under it, they will work together in various areas, to better serve local economic and social development and the health of residents.

Under the agreement, the two sides will establish a joint working mechanism, provide intellectual support for local economic and social development and expand training of high technical skills.

They will build information exchange platforms to identify areas of extensive cooperation. At the same time, the two sides will cooperate in the fields of health and care industry development planning, policy research, topic research and standards development.

They will boost cooperation between the local government, schools and companies and jointly form a research team to assist local development.

The district will encourage its private enterprises, as well as health care facilities, to join with the vocational college in establishing a practical training center. This will provide a facility for the college's young teachers to practice, as well as preparing students for internships.
