A licensing ceremony for Guiyang ethnic group floating population service facility was held on Dec 4 in the Wulichong sub-district service center of Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of China's Southwest Guizhou province.
It marked a new stage in terms of the district's services for its transient ethnic group migrants.
At the grassroots level, the sub-district is publicizing the fact that it is promoting the equality of public services for these people.
At the same time, it has established and improved services for them as well as encouraged all ethnic groups in the jurisdiction to unite, understand and prosper together. The aim is to promote their integration into the city and create a concordant and balanced community living environment.
The new service center will have an important role model function in assisting the floating population of ethnic groups in Guizhou province.
