Construction of phase one of the new electronic information industrial park in the Nanming district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has entered its final stage, according to local media reports on Oct 13.
The park's first phase covers a total area of 247 mu (16.47 hectares), with a total construction area of 280,000 square meters and a total investment of about 1.5 billion yuan ($223.2 million).
It is a medium and high-end manufacturing industry demonstration park.
It will focus on middle and high-end manufacturing, medium and high-end commercial trading and the modern service industry -- aiming at promoting the development of new industries and strengthening the real economy.
The build-out of the industrial park was divided into three groups A, B and C.
Of these, group A, namely the phase one, started construction in September 2019. It includes multi-level factories, support commercial facilities, equipment rooms and other facilities -- which after completion can meet the needs of the industrial park's regional operations.
At present, 10 standard workshops and two support buildings in group A have been capped and the internal and external decorations of buildings, the external pipe network, installation of sidewalks and the greening of the park are being carried out.
At the same time, work to attract investment and projects to the industrial park is also in full swing.
Park's departments will gradually streamline systems to improve their ability to serve resident companies and also improve the overall project's construction, providing more space for more industries to settle.
