Nanming district in Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- signed an agreement with Guiyang Meixing Technology Co Ltd at a ceremony there on Aug 11, aiming to establish cooperation in the catering industry which would help accelerate the economic and social development of the district.
According to local officials, under the agreement the parties will form a long-term partnership.
Under its terms they will follow the principles of "equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual support, long-term cooperation and common development".
In doing so they will give full play to the strengths and competitive advantages of Guiyang Meixing in the catering industry and actively participate in the economic development and construction of Guiyang city.
Officials said the two sides will cooperate to build drink outlets for Heytea -- a popular milk tea chain -- and related catering stores under the Heytea brand, use new retail modes to carry out online and offline sales, as well as provide effective medium and high-end catering.
At the same time, the officials added, Guiyang Meixing will actively investigate and evaluate the purchasing of fruit supplies in the district.
They said the company would support the economic development of Nanming and use the district as the focus to explore its market and actively build flagship stores, high-end stores and other retail outlets.
Officials said that Nanming district will create the best conditions and the best business environment -- as well as provide the best services and actively promote the implementation of cooperation between the two sides, as soon as possible.
Officials said that they hoped the signing of the agreement signified a new starting point, which would lead to the two sides deepening their exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation.
