Nanming district to issue over 30,000 shopping coupons

Nanming district in Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- plans to issue over 30,000 shopping coupons worth 1.78 million yuan ($251,953), according to local media reports on June 23, aiming to boost spending.

As part of the online and offline marketing held during the 2020 Guiyang Import and Export Online Fair, the district will organize shops in six key commercial complexes under its jurisdiction to carry out promotions from June 25 to July 31.

According to district officials, some catering enterprises in its jurisdiction will jointly carry out promotional activities.

There are three types of coupons: a 100 yuan discount for spending 300, a 30 yuan discount for spending 100 and an 8 yuan discount after spending 20 yuan.

Officials said the issuing time is after 10:00 am on every Friday from June 25 to July 31. Guiyang citizens can get the coupons through the Unionpay app.
